Hi, I'm Despina — welcome to my little corner of the internet.

I've been drinking tea for about ten years now, and it's become one of my favorite winter rituals. What really changed things for me was discovering good quality loose-leaf tea from proper tea shops. Once you've tasted the difference compared to a standard supermarket tea bag, it's hard to go back — the flavor is simply richer and more enjoyable.

One tea that holds a special place for me is Greek mountain tea. It's something we drink back home whenever we're feeling under the weather, and I wanted to give it more visibility here, because it deserves to be known beyond Greece.

Despina's Tea Garden started because I wanted to build something of my own around a subject I genuinely enjoy. I'm not a tea sommelier or a trained expert — just someone who loves tea and wanted a space to share that with others, one cup at a time.
